Swan River pedestrian bridge

Erection concept and validation analises

City of Perth – AUSTRALIA

The structure is designed as a 3-span steel cable-stayed bridge, with the two piers in the river bed.
Spans length: 94.5 – 165 – 94.5 m
Max height: 72 m
The bridge structural shape resembles two flying swans, with the bridge arches representing the wishbones.
The bridge was opened in July 2018 and connects visitors from East Perth to the Burswood Peninsula, including the Perth Stadium.

EDIlab developed bridge erection concepts: from causeways assembly phases, segments transport, lifting up sequences, deck suspension and concreting.
